On April 28, H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing was invited to attend Dr. Wu Lien-Teh International Conference 2022 and deliver keynote speech titled “Commemorate predecessors and fight pandemic, together we build a global community of health for all”. Minister of Health of Malaysia YB Khairy Jamaluddin, President of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences Professor Dr. Wang Chen and President of Harbin Medical University Professor Dr. Zhang Xue attended the conference and delivered remarks.

In his speech, Ambassador Ouyang said that we shall learn from Dr. Wu’s scientism spirit of seeking truth from facts, internationalism spirit of global vision and humanism spirit of putting the people first. Facing once-in-a-century pandemic, the governments and people of China and Malaysia have forged closer ties in the fight against the virus, worked together for economic recovery plans,  manifesting the precious friendship of "Bukit Sama Didaki, Lurah Sama Dituruni".Looking ahead, China is ready to enhance communication and coordination with Malaysia in order to deepen our cooperation in the fight against Covid-19.

Dr. Wu Lien-Teh International Conference 2022 was held by Dr. Wu Lien-Teh Education Society of Malaysia and Wu Lien-Teh Institute of Harbin Medical University. Scholars from China, Malaysia, the USA, the UK and Australia joined the seminar for discussion.
