On December 28th, Deputy Chief of Mission & Minister Tang Rui met with Professor Datuk Dr. Osman Bakar from International Institute of Islamic Thought and Civilisation of International Islamic University Malaysia (ISTAC-IIUM). They exchanged ideas on dialogue between Chinese civilisation and Islamic civilisation, and both agreed to promote further communications and cooperation between China and Malaysia in related fields. Former Senator Yusmadi Yusoff and Chinese Embassy Minister-Counselor Lin Shiguang were present at the meeting.
