On June 22, Chinese Embassy Minister Zheng Xuefang attended and delivered remarks at the Opening Ceremony of China-Malaysia Think Tank Forum "50th Anniversary of China-Malaysia Relations: Reflecting the Past, Working Towards a Shared Future".

Also present were Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka Malaysia Former Director Datuk Dr. Awang Sariyan, Malaysia-China Friendship Association President Dato' Abdul Majid Ahmad Khan, and Chinese Academy of Social Sciences' National Institute of International Strategy Deputy Director-General Liu Libin.
