On March 30, Minister of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, Zheng Xuefang had an exchange with teachers and students of the Malaysia Cultural and Economic Study Tour from Kowloon True Light School, Hong Kong, including Vice-Principal Leung Ching Wan, at the Embassy.



Minister Zheng shared about the outcomes of China-Malaysia exchanges and cooperation across various fields in recent years, as well as the Embassy's consular protection duties. He said that with China-Malaysia relations now at their best in history, the prospects are bright for building a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future in the 15th Five-Year Plan period, while Belt and Road cooperation continues to deepen. He stated that the Embassy is committed to the principle of “diplomacy for the people” and safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens, including Hong Kong compatriots. Minister Zheng encouraged the students to gain a deeper understanding of China's development achievements and Chinese culture, so as to contribute to enhancing China’s friendship with countries around the globe.



During the exchange, students asked questions with enthusiasm, making the interaction lively. The teachers and students thanked the Embassy for the warm hospitality, saying that the trip has deepened their understanding of China-Malaysia relations and the diplomatic affairs.
