On September 15, the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia hosted the Embassy Open Day, where close to 80 students from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), and Sekolah Menengah Sains Tapah (SESTA), Perak have been invited to visit the Embassy to engage in interactions, experience China’s traditional cultures and sci-tech innovation achievements, as well as celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival together.

At the lively event, Embassy diplomats gave the students a tour of the Embassy’s exhibition areas. Besides learning about the history of China-Malaysia diplomatic relations, students also watched videos on Mid-Autumn Festival traditions, China's AI advancements, and the APEC “China Year”. Students also tried on Hanfu, made and tasted mooncakes, enjoyed traditional Chinese cultural activities such as pitch-pot and Mid-Autumn lantern making, and experienced AI products from iFLYTEK.

The students remarked that the event was well curated and interesting, allowing them to experience China's profound cultural heritage and sci-tech innovation achievements. In the future, they are keen to participate in promoting Malaysia-China people-to-people exchanges and become the new generation of friendship ambassador between both countries.
