On April 11, the Opening Ceremony of 2026 China Higher Education Fair in Klang Valley has been held at Hin Hua High School, Klang, for which H.E. Ambassador Ouyang Yujing attended and delivered remarks. Also present were Malaysia’s Selangor State Legislative Assemblyman for Pandamaran, Leong Tuck Chee; Chairman of the United Chinese School Committees’ Association of Malaysia (Dong Zong), Dr. Tan Yew Sing; President of the Associations of Graduates from Universities and Colleges of China, Malaysia (Liuhua), Lim Kok Yan; Chairman of Hin Hua High School, Choo Yan Tiee, and representatives from China’s universities.

Ambassador Ouyang said, China-Malaysia relations are at their historic best and that cooperation in education is an important cornerstone for building a high-level strategic China-Malaysia community with a shared future. The education fair, which brings together over 50 of China’s top-notch universities, made its way to schools in Penang, Perak, and the Klang Valley, making it accessible for Malaysian youth to connect with China's top-notch higher education resources.

In their speeches, Tan Yew Sing, Lim Kok Yan, and other guests thanked the support of various parties. They said that the exhibition provides students with a priority guidance on further education, while also fostering Malaysia-China educational exchanges and people-to-people bond.

Ambassador Ouyang, accompanied by the organizers, toured the fair and interacted with representatives of participating universities and students.
